How do we operate?
A typical recruitment campaign scenario might be:
- Discussion with HR and Line Management about specific requirements for the role
- If an advertised vacancy; create copy for approval with client prior to placement
If a search assignment; brief MMA researcher - Agree timescales and prepare project plan
- Produce brief and agree with client to confirm understanding of requirements and to use to inform candidates prior to interview
- Screen responses from applicants and carry out first interviews with potential candidates; handling all correspondence and communications with applicants
- Keeping candidates and client informed of progress at all times
- Preparing a shortlist to include interview report, synopsis and CVs
- Organize interviews for shortlisted candidates
- Brief Occupational Psychologist if psychometric assessments are required
- Handle all employment contract offer negotiations
- Produce a final report on the outcome of the campaign for the client.
Psychometric Assessment
MMA has a number of Occupational Psychologists who are experienced in running psychometric assessments as part of a selection process, including Assessment Centres, if this service is required.
Timing
All recruitment assignments are unique; however, a typical search campaign could have a 13 week time span and for advertising and selection this could be 8 weeks. A programme timescale is agreed at the start of the assignment to enable progress to be strictly monitored and ensure slippage, as far as possible, is avoided.
