One to One or Group Workshops?

Whatever support is needed MMA can provide outplacement programmes UK wide. Each programme is tailor-made to meet the needs of both the organization and the client(s).

1:1 Programmes

One to one programmes are usually designed around a set number of hours of support from an MMA career consultant. This could be 3, 6, 10 or even 20 hour programmes. Open ended 1:1 programmes are also available if required. The programmes normally start with a diagnostic session to identify the specific support needs of the individual client. This would be followed by a report from our career consultant giving support recommendations for approval by the sponsoring organization. Following approval monthly progress reports are provided to sponsors, giving an overview of what has been covered and hours used whilst ensuring the confidentiality of the client v consultant relationship is maintained.

Possible usage of a 10 hour programme could involve:

FOCUS4CHANGE (F4C)

To support the service given by our experienced career consultants, MMA also provides clients with access to the latest in web-based career management system tools. F4C is a comprehensive system that enables clients to:

Manage their career campaign;  Search over 100 of the most popular job sites on the web;  Create and distribute CVs designed for specific opportunities;  Generate cover letters and other types of correspondence;  Automatically apply for job openings;  Easily manage and track job advertisements;  Track CVs and cover letters sent to potential employers;  Know when a CV has been viewed by potential employers;  Prepare for interviews;  Review frequently asked questions and ask their own career related questions;  Build and maintain a network of information and contacts;  Access research information on salary ranges, relocation etc;  Have 24 hour access to career management information;  Maintain contacts, calendar events and documents essential to the campaign;  Take personal assessments online;  Connect directly with their personal career consultant.

In addition MMA can also offer a range of other complementary services such as:

Detailed psychometric assessments;  Advice on franchising or starting a business;  Self employment, consultancy and interim management advice;  Independent financial advice, including guidance on investment and taxation.

Group Workshops

Focus4ward job search workshops are designed for up to 10 participants at a time. The workshops can be of 1 or 2 days duration. A workshop manual for each participant is supplied by MMA. A typical 1 day workshop sample agenda could include:

Priorities & Managing Change; Achievements – taking stock;  Campaign Management;  CV Design & Preparation;  Developing a Job Search Strategy;  Letters & Application Forms;  Interview Techniques;  Evaluating Job Offers & Adjusting to the New Job.

Workshops can either be run on or off site depending upon circumstances.
